Come explore a world of history with horses, kept alive in central Montana and showcased annually at the Montana Horse Progress Days. Held the last Saturday in August, the event showcases an extensive lineup of driving and riding horses and teams, as well as wagons and hitch equipment, saddles, harness, tack and more!
The Montana Horse Progress Days has gained a reputation for offering a wide array of breeds and types, all screened and approved for the sale. We strive to offer good, honest horses at good value, every year.
2023 Schedule of Events
Friday, August 25th
9:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. - Auction Consignment Check-In
5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. - Auction/Horse Preview
Food trucks will be on site for concessions.
Saturday, August 26th
Food trucks will be on site for concessions.
7:00 A.M. - 9:00 A.M. - Horse & Auction Preview
9:00 A.M. - Auction Begins with Tack, Harness & Small Merchandise
11:00 A.M - Wagons, Buggies, Carts, Equipment
1:00 P.M. - Horses & Teams
4:00 P.M. - Finish Tack & Small Merchandise
