AVAILABLE ON HORSEBID . COM DECEMBER 22nd-29th!!! Big Sam is the definition of a GENTLE GIANT!! He has a sweet temperament and is just as friendly as a kitten. Sam is just the type of horse that gets along great with any other animals and everybody in the barn loves him. He has been used for lots of different jobs here on the farm. This fall one day we had kids day in our petting area and all the kids got to sit on Big Sam to get their picture taken. Sam had between 300 and 400 kids on his back that day and just loved all the attention and treats he got from them! If you take him out on a trail ride he doesn't mind riding with a group or just go on a solo ride. If you have to open a gate or load the manure spreader or whatever it might be there's no need to tie Sam, he will stand wherever you want him to. He doesn't mind large crowds and big traffic and all kinds of loud noises. Big Sam just has that BIG, PROUD, and IMPRESSIVE walk that grabs everyone's attention. Sam has been driven a lot single or double with another horse and doesn't mind driving on either side of the tongue. He has a nice trot and will also canter if you ask him to. He is very friendly with other animals and wouldn't hurt the tiniest pony!!! If you are looking for that big, gentle, and impressive pet Sam might be the one!! He checks all the boxes!!! Stands to mount! Loads nicely!! Traffic Safe!! Kid Friendly!! Gentle with other animals!! Stands for the farrier!! Easy to clip!! Loves a bath!!
