Do you want a horse that’s always the center of attention… the kind you don’t measure in hands, you measure in floors?

Meet Reece. A 7yr old Belgian gelding standing an impressive 20hh That is not a typo. Yes, you read that right. His shoulder stands at 6’8. At this point, he doesn’t tower over you.. he politely supervises your entire existence.
Despite his absolutely ridiculous size, Reece is the definition of a gentle giant. In the barn he is an absolute gentleman. Stands tied, grooms, tacks, and soaks up attention like he was built for it. He is as gentle and respects your space. He does pick up his feet but we trim him in stocks.
Under saddle, Reece is tall enough to judge you, but kind enough to keep it to himself. If you’re brave enough to swing a leg into the clouds, you can ride him! He picks up all three gaits VERY easy for his size, will canter around better than some much smaller drafts, backs nicely, and is always happy to walk on a loose rein and take the world in.
Out on the trail, Reece is confident and can take a joke! He will cross water, mud, ravines, bridges, and whatever else you point him at. Wildlife? Not an issue. He is not looky, not watchy, and doesn’t believe in drama. Nothing comes as a surprise to him, he already saw it coming. He will happily hack out alone or in a group and is just as content leading the ride as he is cruising in the middle or following along. He has no nasty habits. He is pastured with a mixed herd and does great. He’s very easy to catch in a pasture and is always happy to see you! This guy loads onto anything and everything and he travels like a breeze!
Reece is Amish broke to drive but we do not currently have a harness that adjusts to his… elevated size.
