Very nice mannered and well broke silver white Percheron cross mare. She worked for an Amish family her whole life pulling vegetable cart to the town farmstand. Very hitchy and is stunning under harness.
This mare has been a good traveler as we took her to Montana this summer. She has horse camped multiple times and has had 90 days riding training in the past few months.
This mare will greet you at the gate and is friendly.
She is a good mama and has had a few Colts.
Selling her is not an easy decision to make.
I bought her thinking I would continue with my carriage business. But, my son has moved away that helped me and my husband doesn't enjoy it. We are also traveling more and with insurance getting more expensive I can't justify having her standing around and not using her for carriage work.
I also have a custom made fancy harness made for her and a Vis a Vis carriage for sale.
She is a great horse and will make some lucky person very happy.
Mel is super healthy was vet checked and xrayed when I got her last October.
Our lives have changed and driving a carriage is no longer something I am doing.
She has a very good stop and stand for folks to enter and exit.
Feel free to call me about her. I have videos of her riding and driving.
